imeiv.com is a single-page advertisement about the GasBuddy fuel-price app, paid for by Imeiv Media Inc. and published by the same company. The app is not ours: it is owned and operated by its publisher, and the terms inside it apply to it. Reading this page is taken as agreement to the terms set out below; if they do not suit you, leave the page.

Prices are illustrations

Every figure shown on this page — station prices, provincial averages, detour arithmetic and yearly savings — is an example chosen to explain how fuel pricing works. None of it is a quote, an offer, or a statement of what any station charges today. Retail fuel prices change station by station and can move several times in a day. The number on the station’s own sign, and the amount on the pump when you pay, are the only figures that bind anyone.

No fuel, no payment

Nothing is sold on this page. No fuel, no card, no subscription and no account. A download button opens the app’s listing on Google Play, where the transaction and its terms are Google’s and the app publisher’s, not ours. Fuel is bought at a station, on that station’s pumps, under that station’s prices and conditions. If a purchase goes wrong, the station or the app publisher is the party to speak to, not this page.

Accuracy and availability

The page is offered as it stands. Imeiv Media Inc. does not control the app and cannot promise that it is available in every region, on every device, or without interruption, and cannot promise that a price reported by a driver is correct. Features described here are taken from the app’s public Play Store listing at the date shown above and may change without notice.

Ownership

The text, layout, stylesheet and graphics of this page belong to Imeiv Media Inc. or are used with permission. GasBuddy and the names of fuel retailers, vehicle makers and other companies that appear in ordinary prose stay the property of their owners, are used for identification only, and do not imply any affiliation with this page.

Limits on what this page promises

To the extent the law allows, neither Imeiv Media Inc. nor anyone who worked on this page is liable for a loss that follows from relying on a figure shown here, including a decision about where to buy fuel or how far to drive. Nothing in these terms removes a right that consumer law in your province gives you and that cannot be waived.

The law behind this page

Ontario law, together with the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, governs this page and these terms. If you live somewhere else in Canada, the consumer protection rules of your own province still apply to you and are not displaced by this paragraph.
